A Week in Tuscany: Wine, Art & History

February 23, 2026

From the rolling vineyards of Chianti to the Renaissance masterpieces of Florence, Tuscany offers an unparalleled blend of culture, cuisine, and natural beauty.

A Week in Tuscany

Tuscany is one of Italy's most beloved regions, and for good reason. The landscape of rolling hills, cypress trees, and medieval towns seems almost too beautiful to be real.

Day 1-2: Florence

Begin your journey in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the Uffizi Gallery to see Botticelli's Birth of Venus, climb the Duomo for panoramic views, and stroll across the Ponte Vecchio.

Must-eat: Bistecca alla Fiorentina at a traditional trattoria.

Day 3: Siena

Just over an hour from Florence, Siena is a medieval gem. The Piazza del Campo, one of Europe's greatest medieval squares, is perfect for a long lunch.

Day 4-5: Chianti Wine Country

Rent a car and explore the Chianti Classico wine region. Stop at family-run wineries, taste aged Brunello di Montalcino, and enjoy antipasti on sun-drenched terraces.

Day 6: San Gimignano

Known as the 'Medieval Manhattan' for its tower houses, San Gimignano is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Don't miss the world-famous gelato at Gelateria Dondoli.
